Woodstock Engagement – Brooke and Ben

Woodstock Winter Engagement with Ben and Brooke

Brooke and Ben are getting married ONE MONTH FROM TODAY.

I met with this awesome couple earlier this year for their engagement photos. It was beautiful and snowy, just like Brooke imagined. Brooke and Ben are so funny and sweet together and I have been looking forward to their wedding day all year! Here are a couple shots from their winter engagement session!

Tessa and Cody are a gorgeous couple who are not afraid to snuggle, or put up with my shenanigans! I love everything about this session: the light, the love, and the smiles. Continue reading “Tessa and Cody – Woodstock Portrait Photographer”

Woodstock Family Portraits – Prosser Family

Family Portrait Session with the Prossers

I met up with Lily and her parents a sunny day last week and we had an absolute blast! I love taking photos of kids because I love how honest they are in their expressions and mannerisms. Lily hammed it up the whole time and I was able to capture a huge chunk of her personality. In the future, when Lily is a little older, and a little less silly, her family will always have these images to look back to, to see her the silly way she curls her lip when shes trying not to smile, how sweet her red curls are, or the faces she makes when you bring up the Ninja Turtles. Hope you love these frames as much as I do!

Fredericton Wedding – Kristen and Jeff

An October Fredericton Wedding with Kristen and Jeff

I met with Kristen a few months before the wedding and we instantly clicked. The way she spoke about Jeff made me so excited to see them together. Kristen and Jeff were married on a gorgeous October day surrounded by their family and friends. There are so many moments in this series of photos that show everyone’s excitement and joy.  I love the fall colours that were captured in their couple portraits! Not to mention the awesome white school bus that ferried everyone around all day – best way to travel with a wedding party! Hope you enjoy this snapshot from their day.

Special thanks to my second shooter, Kristen Chisholm for helping me out!

Woodstock Engagement Portraits – Robert and Kelly

Woodstock NB Engagement Portraits - Robert and Kelly

Robert and Kelly got together one beautiful night this summer with me to grab these engagement photos. I have so many favourites in this set, choosing which to share was difficult! Hope you enjoy these photos as much as I do. Continue reading “Woodstock Engagement Portraits – Robert and Kelly”

Punta Cana Destination Wedding – Caleb and Michaela

A Destination Punta Cana Wedding with Caleb and Michaela

I’ve said it before, I will say it again: I am HORRIBLE at blogging. So horrible, in fact, that I shot a beautiful destination wedding in Punta Cana over a YEAR AGO and am just now blogging about it. Crazy, am I right? Remember Caleb and Michaela’s beautiful engagement session? This is their wedding that nobody knew about. This wedding wins for fastest ceremony at 15 total minutes, including portraits. To say the experience was a rush is a bit of an understatement! Bonus points to this couple for getting up at the crack of dawn the next morning for photos on the beach – some of these shots are so beautiful I can’t even believe we had a chance to capture them! Hope you enjoy this very belated post as much as I do.

Miranda + Moe – Woodstock Portrait Photographer

Woodstock Portrait Session - Miranda and Moe

I went to school with Miranda (many, many moons ago) and I jumped at the chance to grab some photos of her in her new home. Miranda is a personal trainer in the Woodstock area and she definitely knows her stuff! If you’re interested in getting in touch with her, you can reach her at [email protected]. Moe, her trusty sidekick, tagged along for this session and had no problem giving kisses every time she could! I love this session and all the love you can see between Mir and Moe. Culberson Family – Woodstock Portrait Photographer

This extended family portrait session with the Culberson Family immediately became one of my favourite family sessions to date. We met in Downtown Woodstock a few weeks back and had a TONNE of fun! This family kept me running on my toes and giggling the whole time. Hope you enjoy these images as much as I do!

Abby and Daniel – Woodstock Maternity

Woodstock Maternity photos with Abby and Daniel

I’ll be the first one to admit that I don’t normally do maternity or babies. Don’t get me wrong, I love babies, but I think that my talents are better suited to weddings most of the time. That being said, when I spoke to Abby about having some maternity photos done, I was a little excited. Abby is a dear friend and I was so excited for her pregnancy. We got together a night last summer and made some beautiful maternity photos together! More than maternity photos, I love how the following images show how much Daniel and Abby are in love with each other and their growing family.

Dean and Jennie – Woodstock Portraits

My Mom and Dad are two of the most awesome people I know. And you know what? There are way too few photos of the two of them. I decided to change that this summer. For Mother’s Day, I gifted my mother a portrait session with my Dad. I have never been so nervous for a session! We laughed and joked through the whole session and I will never forget that time together.

As I grow older I realize more and more how important it is to spend the time with the people who I love the most and I feel compelled to document that time together. I don’t often follow that compulsion, but this year I am going to try harder to document the beautiful people around me. This was the start of that with my parents, Dean and Jennie.

If you feel that your family needs to be documented, let me know. It is so important.
