Charlie is my husbands cousin and I was so excited when he asked me to take some grad portraits for him. When Craig and I started dating, Charlie was about 2 feet shorter and in the 5th grade (!) so it’s so neat to see him all grown up and getting ready to graduate. These are some informal portraits I took of him a few weeks ago, with a special appearance of his girlfriend, Julia (who is STUNNING.)
When I take portraits of people I try really hard to capture them as they are in the moment, I hope you get a little bit of Charlie when you look at these photos.

I had the privilege of meeting up with Layla last week to capture some images for her graduate portraits. First of all, this gal had me meet her in what can only be described as behind the backwoods of nowhere, but how gorgeous are these images? I thought at a couple points we were going to be carried off by mosquitoes, but looking at the photos now, it was so worth it.
Layla swore up and down that she had never modeled for photos before but I really don’t believe her, she made sense of all my wild hand gestures immediately.
Layla is also an accomplished musician and has played all over the province with a wide variety of talent. Once upon a time, she even came to me for fiddle lessons. She has far surpassed any fiddling skills I possess, with no surprise, and I would highly recommend making an effort to hear her play.
Good luck in all that you do Layla, and thanks for letting me capture these beautiful photos of you.

Lora is my beautiful cousin and a couple weeks ago we decided to get together and create some images.
The first group of photos were taken in this gorgeous field of lupin flowers. I am so in love with this spot! The colours and light are just so vibrant and beautiful. The second group of photos are taken on one of the Meduxnekeag River trails and have a completely different feel. I shot those photos with the idea to play with light and shadow and I feel like they need their own moment. So keep an eye out for more with Lora!

Nic and Kelsey are getting married in September and we met up recently to grab some engagement photos. I’ve known Nic since high school and I feel like Kelsey is his perfect match. They are effortless together. We had such a great time, even though we accidentally had to do some hiking on the Meduxnekeag Trail. Note to self, don’t go off trail in search of the perfect bridge no matter how pretty it looks!
I love the images we created together and I hope their love for one another is evident in what I’ve shared. I can’t wait to meet up with these two again in the fall!

I spotted this field of lupin flowers from the highway one day and knew I HAD to take portraits in them. Emily and Lila-Jane met up with me one beautiful morning last week and magic happened. Everything about this session was magic – the light, the flowers, the sweet faces that Lila gave me every frame. I love living in New Brunswick where we have beautiful spots like this literally beside a highway!
Having a new baby, I’ve found it hard to sometimes to create and be myself, which is something I think a lot of new moms struggle with. It was so refreshing to be able to create some beautiful images and get a little bit lost in the moment while with Emily and Lila. I hope that I will get to make more images like this soon, because I am in love with these photos.
If you’re interested in getting magical photos like these done, get in touch!

Asher is now 5 months old (almost 6!!!) and is such a funny, bright, sensitive, and inquisitive creature. He laughs sparingly, but always has a jolly grin. He still enjoys a good bounce on the exercise ball with Daddy. He LOVES the outdoors, he will go from wailing to complete awe as soon as we walk outside. He is so friendly to everyone we meet and is deceivingly content when in public. He still hates naps and night sleep because I think he fears he will miss something amazing. He is all ours. We love him so much more every day.
Here are a couple favourites from months 2-5.

Drew, you have it made, buddy. You have the sweetest, loving parents who would do anything for you. You have a beautiful space to learn and grow in. You were made for special things. I’m so glad I got to meet you.
You may remember seeing photos of Robert and Kelly before (you can view them HERE or HERE). I love return clients, and I love when return clients bring babies with them! Drew is the sweetest thing and I hope you can see all the love and joy he brings to his parents lives in these photos.

Robert and Kelly are expecting a baby! I took their engagement photos last year and I was so excited when they contacted me to capture their maternity portraits. We met up at their beautiful home on a gorgeous winter day a few weeks ago and made some really beautiful images together. Here are some favourites.

I love spending time with Ben and Brooke. We had a session together a couple years ago and it was a blast. When I found out they were engaged I was so excited! I hoped I would get to work with them again. Sure enough, Brooke was not long in sending me a message about the wedding. We shot their engagement photos and I was looking forward to their New Year’s Eve wedding. Then I found out I was pregnant. I think I gave Brooke fifteen heart attacks. Thankfully, everything worked out, Asher came before the wedding, I had a fantastic helper, and the wedding was perfect. Here is a brief look into Brooke and Ben’s special day.
Special thank you to Brittany for being such an amazing back up for me – I couldn’t have done it without you!
