This night was a little bit of a mix up. I was supposed to cover this event on Wednesday but there was a slight mix up and it was postponed until Thursday. Long story short, I ended up at Bearly’s House of Blues down on Barrington St. on Thursday night ready for almost anything!
I had never been here before, but let me tell you, Bearly’s is dark inside! This makes for a fantastic bar atmosphere, not so great of a photo-taking atmosphere. Again, I’m so thankful for the lessons learned at other events as it helped me figure out almost immediately how to handle my situation!
Morgan Davis, accompanied by Geoff Arsenault, is an old school rhythm and blues man full of soul. He soon had his audiences attention with his 12 bar blues tunes and his soulful vocals were a perfect addition. His look, the neon sign behind him, and his voice made my job both enjoyable and easy as I quickly captured frames that I knew I would be proud of!
