HI! MY NAME IS EBONY SCOTT AND THIS IS A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME.
I’m not really great at writing website bios, but I do love writing and at one point in my life, I thought that was what I wanted to do. It just didn’t click though, so I decided to go to school for photography instead. I graduated from the Centre for Arts and Technology (now DaVinci College) in 2012 and have been learning and growing as a photographer ever since.
I love images that make me feel something – joy, happiness, love, sadness. Each image I capture that is what I’m trying for, real emotion. I want to have fun and joke with my clients, but at the end of the day, I am working to create something beautiful and real that represents you in this moment. We have an incredibly short time on this earth with the people we love, which makes capturing our lives as they are so important! Forget about the white tee shirt and blue jeans, posed family photo – I want to capture you laughing, dancing, crying, hugging, smiling, scowling, and every quirky moment in between.
I currently live in Woodstock, New Brunswick with my husband and best friend, Craig, and our two silly puppies, Isis and Clio. When I’m not wearing my photographer hat, I am a full time private music teacher for an amazing group of young people. I love reading great novels, wool socks, cuddling with my puppies, and laughing with/at my husband. In the future, I would love to see as much of the world as possible, try my hand at writing a novel, learn how to shoot on film, and continue to grow as both an individual and a photographer.
Hopefully this bio gives you a little insight to me, but if you’d like to know more, lets chat!
