I spotted this field of lupin flowers from the highway one day and knew I HAD to take portraits in them. Emily and Lila-Jane met up with me one beautiful morning last week and magic happened. Everything about this session was magic – the light, the flowers, the sweet faces that Lila gave me every frame. I love living in New Brunswick where we have beautiful spots like this literally beside a highway!
Having a new baby, I’ve found it hard to sometimes to create and be myself, which is something I think a lot of new moms struggle with. It was so refreshing to be able to create some beautiful images and get a little bit lost in the moment while with Emily and Lila. I hope that I will get to make more images like this soon, because I am in love with these photos.
